*Driver Statement*:
What a race! @nuerburgringls

After an intense and fair battle, I crossed the finish line in P1 yesterday.

Shortly after the finish, I was informed of a penalty for „overtaking under yellow“, which genuinely surprised me. After reviewing our onboard footage, the race officials confirmed that the yellow flag in question was not visible from my position — and that I had therefore committed no violation. The penalty was withdrawn.

I’m grateful the situation was reviewed fairly and thoroughly.

Everything that followed & will follow from here is in the hands of the relevant authorities.

I trust the process.
@muehlnermotorsport

🔧 NLS8: Strong start, then lost the front splitter in lap 1 with zero contact – cost us a chunk of downforce. Fixed it in the first stop, only for it to fall off again straight away. Still fought for the win all race long. Crossed the line in P2 – hard-earned.

🌧️ NLS9: Right back in the fight for the win. Mixed conditions, switched to wets – then a slow puncture cost us time and forced an extra stop. Finished P3, and for the first time this season we lost the championship lead, with one race still to go.

Thank you for a flawless job done by @muehlnermotorsport and @joshua_bednarski, @tim_scheerbarth!

If you wonder how @fabiogrosse_ and my last 3 laps looked like after 6hours of racing 😅🫣
A bit chaotic here and there. But that’s racing.
Looking forward to the next fight in the PETN Cup 2 class and hopefully a slightly better weapon 🚀 next time.

Not every day is a podium day. This time around, the final performance just wasn’t there at NLS 7 – but we fought hard from the first lap to the last.
First race this season without a podium, but we’re still leading the PETN Championship 🏆

The Nürburgring was cooking today 🔥 — and honestly, so were we. Massive thanks to the entire @muehlnermotorsport team for making this happen and @mrumpracing who was also on fire today. #NLS #Nürburgring #GreenHell #RaceWinner

24 hours later…
The Nürburgring never gives you anything for free - rain, darkness, chaos, setbacks, and pure emotion.
But in the end, we made it to the top. 🏆

Proud of every single person behind this result.
Thank you to the team @hmsgofficial @ @brcgasequipment, the fans, and everyone who believed in us.

The Green Hell writes its own stories… and this one is ours.
